Woodside Lodge is an award winning 5 star Gold secluded holiday home for two nestled in the gardens of an 18th century cottage, five miles south of Hexham, with far reaching views over pastureland towards forest and fell.
It provides a peaceful and contemporary retreat ideally situated for exploring the spectacular landscape of the North Pennines AONB to the south west, while to the north the Northumberland National Park, the world heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder Water and Forest Park, and the Northumberland coast are all within easy reach. Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead are twenty miles east.
The half vaulted living space is light and airy with bi fold doors leading on to the terrace. The bedroom is equipped with a superking size bed which can be made up as two singles on request, and the adjoining shower room is fully tiled with a large walk in shower, loo and basin.
Outside there is a spacious decked area with a dining table and chairs, parasol, barbeque, and planters.
A separate lockable dry storage area is available for bulky items such as walking gear, bicycles, suitcases etc.
